FAQs

How far in advance do we need to book?

Although there is no exact answer to this, having multiple vehicles and crews gives us a level of flexibility. We often have more than one time slot in a day, and work 6 days a week. Generally speaking a couple of weeks notice is fine, but the more notice you can give us, the better. Our flexibility does allow us to take on jobs at shorter notice.

Our building manager says we need to use a ‘ferry vehicle’ to move into the building. Can you help?

Absolutely. More and more of the new developments going up around Sydney dont seem to have a removalists best interests at heart! From low loading docks, to placing the lifts 3 levels below the dock. Never fear the ute is here! We can provide a ute or van to ‘ferry’ all of your belongings from the truck to the lift or vice versa. This definitely saves time, puts less kms in the legs and keeps your building manager on side!

Do you sell boxes?

We do! We have a large range of double ply removals cartons for sale or for rent.We also provide many other types of packaging materials.  Boxes can be collected from us or delivered free of charge (within 12km radius) and the same with collection. Rental boxes are charged at full price initially but when you have finished with them we will collect them and give a refund via direct transfer. We do ask that you write on the tape so the boxes are clean to use for the next customer.

Building manager again… Now we are being asked for a copy of your public liability certificate before we are allowed to move in.

Upon booking a job we will send you a confirmation email. Please reply to this requesting our P.L.C and we will happily send you through a copy of our policy.

Are you open on Sundays?

Sunday is a day for us to rest and recover after a long week of moving! We operate from Monday to Saturday and don’t charge extra for a Saturday move. But make sure you get in quick, Saturdays are traditionally our most popular days!

I’m running out of time to finish my packing, are you able to come in and pack my kitchen?

Of course. We offer a full or part packing service and kitchen packs have become increasingly popular. We understand the kitchen can be a nightmare to pack especially with little ones clinging to your legs. For the majority of kitchens 1 packer is often sufficient. We can come in and pack up the lot leaving those few last bits you’ll need for the last night in your current home! We can even come and unpack it for you too!!
